Transversal projects

Cancéropôle Île-de-France's coordination of transversal programmes allows networks dedicated to key cancer research themes to be established.  These networks of researchers and clinicians from Paris laboratories are run by workshops and bring together complementary disciplines from all areas of cancer research around a common theme. 

In particular, among networks established through transversal programmes, are :

• Structured network (clinical and preclinical): paediatric brain tumours
• Structured network : melanoma
• Myeloma network: transfer of innovative biology to clinical practice
• Familial forms of breast cancer : network for their better understanding and management
• "Colorectal cancer" clinicobiologic transversal programme
• "Cancer in transplanted subjects" clinicobiologic transversal programme
• Cancer stem cell network (CSC)
• Somatic genetic AP-HP platform networks
• BIOCANPEDIF network, Virtual Biobank for Childhood cancers in Île de France
• Epithyr : Mainland and Overseas France Network for thyroid cancer epidemiology

New networks are structured within working groups.
