Our team studies signaling pathways in cancer by using biochemical functional experimental approaches both in vitro and in vivo. The focuses of our team is the molecular aspects of the MAPK pathway and the oncogenic Maf transcription factors. We are currently focusing our projects on pediatric tumors: the medulloblastoma and the retinoblastoma. We have developed strong activities and expertise on Medulloblastoma, a manuscript is in preparation showing that NRL, a MAF transcription factor, is key player in aggressive medulloblastoma. Our future aims are to decipher molecular aspects of Medulloblastoma progression, focusing on signaling pathways and transcription factors. I Wa are also studying the efficacy of radiotherapy (radiotoxicity and radioresistance) as well as radiation-based alternative therapeutics in medulloblastoma.
